One-click re-ordering in eCommerce
Customers can now increase their sales and shopper satisfaction with eComchain’s reordering feature
It’s a known fact, it’s easier and cheaper to retain an ecommerce customer than trying to get a new shopper to visit the storefront. One of the ways to keep current shoppers interested and buying is by providing tools that make it easier for them to reorder by providing them new offers or discounts or by reminding them to reorder based on their last purchase.
Having the reordering option, for a revisiting customer, is definitely a win-win for the shopper and the merchant. eComchain has developed this new feature as one of its quarterly releases in 2020.
When it comes to reordering, it is best to make the process as simple and easy as possible for the shopper. eComchain has provided a one-click reordering option when the shopper visits the storefront. By clicking on the order history option, under the My Accounts tab, shoppers can quickly find and view their past and recent orders.
A reorder button is displayed for each order saving your shoppers valuable time in having to go through your site and find the products they want to purchase again. This option works especially great for B2B buyers who tend to have to order the same supplies every few months.
Clicking the Reorder button for any of the orders will prompt the users with a popup to select the required items from the order to be added to the cart. Users can also select all of the items to be added to the cart and proceed with their regular checkout process much faster
eComchain is working on an additional feature wherein your shoppers are on a set timeline, by keeping a track of their last product purchased, and by reminding them when it’s time to reorder or replenish. Keep an eye for this feature that you can turn on in the next few weeks.
