Cart abandonment is when an online shopper adds at least one product to their cart and then exits without making a purchase.
Baymard Institute predicts these reasons –

• Extra Cost

• Didn’t want to create an account

• Checkout process was too long

• Total order was not mentioned

• Checkout page crashed or had errors

• Site was not PCI-DSS compliant

• Return policy was not satisfactory
• Few payment options
